Hi @NY_10075170

Thank you for your question!

I’d like to recommend to bring more details and context to your initial inquiry. For example:

  • Was there any recent change to the server configuration, network, or LDAP settings before the issue started?
  • Is the method server log showing any specific stack trace or error related to JNDI or LDAP?
  • Have you tried restarting the Windchill services with elevated permissions or after clearing temp/cache files?

Please add screenshot(s) to better understand what you are trying to do in your process.

Please refer to this guideline to make your questions more likely to receive a quick and useful answer.

This will increase your chances to receive meaningful help from other Community members.

Here's what a good question for Windchill looks like.

Thank you for your participation and please let me know if you need further assistance!

The servermanager and methodserver logs should contain a reason for the failed start. Lots of things could be the cause. LDAP. Database, Network. System changes. Can't help much with what you posted but if you do post any logs, please make sure you redact any personal system details like hostnames. This site is public.

Is this a new installation of Windchill? Windchill 12.0.0.0 is very out-dated.

Read through the log files for error messages, the reason for failure is usually in there if you look close enough.
