You could try to use the "Add to package" functionality from the property page of the assembly. This collects all dependencies and content files and writesthem to a archive. Unter utilities there is also aImport/Export Manager. As far as I know this shoulddo the same. The probably "unwanted" side-effect is thatthe system logs all this actions.

I think you can also do the same independent file download, other than the details page.
From the Product/Folders Page (probably Library or other tables also), between the Name/Number Columns is a "Document Format" Column.
If you hover overan individualobject format icon, it will offer "Download <format> File" hyperlink selection.
It also only downloads an non associated single file.
I have seen this on 2 systems, so I dont think there is any configuration/preference edit needed.
