Upload / download files to/from Windchill with standalone browser.

In 9.1 you can download files from the object's details page > General >
Content table. It will not process any dependencies. So if you are looking
to get an assembly, it will just get the .asm file.

You could try to use the "Add to package" functionality from the property page of the assembly. This collects all dependencies and content files and writesthem to a archive. Unter utilities there is also aImport/Export Manager. As far as I know this shoulddo the same. The probably "unwanted" side-effect is thatthe system logs all this actions.

Hello

I think you can also do the same independent file download, other than the details page.

From the Product/Folders Page (probably Library or other tables also), between the Name/Number Columns is a "Document Format" Column.

If you hover overan individualobject format icon, it will offer "Download <format> File" hyperlink selection.

It also only downloads an non associated single file.

I have seen this on 2 systems, so I dont think there is any configuration/preference edit needed.

Of course, this is for WC 9.1 M040.

Import/export is only available in the client side workspace table.
