User experiences with creo elements/pro 5 (build M090) and PDMLink 9.1/m40

Hello,

We are planning on upgrading to creo elements/pro 5 (build M090) shortly. We will be using it with PDMLink 9.1/m40

We have evaluated this build and have not encountered any "show stopper" type issues.

Before we "jump in", I was doing a last check to verify if you have encountered any issues either with Pro/E or with it's PDMLink interaction that we should be aware of.

Thanks in advance for a prompt reply!

Hi Tom,

For our client using Windchill 9.1 M060 we went ahead withelements/pro 5 (build M100) few months back. Everything is okay but we faced two issues:

ISSUE 1 )

We publish the drawigs to PDF. The PEN table entries for CAD worker had to be changed. The pen number assigned to each entity is based on entity color in withelements/pro 5. Previously the width of plotted lines was related to the 150369 for further details.

ISSUE 2 )

Few of the old drawings showed diognal random lines acrros when the drawings were published /exported to PDF. The issue was with few old drawings created in Wildfire 3. PTC provided a config setting to fix the issue.

Apart from the two minor issues above...rest everything is fine.
