VPN connection to Windchill

I am at the end of my rope.

We are using a Juniper SSL/VPN for connection to our Windchill server. I am trying to get an outside user to connect his install of Pro/E to our install of Windchill.

He is able to ping the server once he connects through the Juniper VPN, but when he tries to register the server it does not allow him to do it.

He is able to bring up Windchill using a web browser, so I know he able to connect and see it. What am I missing?

Windchill 9.0 M050 and Wildfire 4.0 M160

Thanks for your help

Rich

It's possible your VPN doesn't open all the ports up, and Pro/E needs a port that is being blocked.
You can enable RMI tunneling on Windchill which then forces all the traffic to be passed on port 80 (or whatever you have configured.)
This is typically added whenever Windchill is behind a firewall. Search the PTC knowledgebase for "RMI tunneling" for more information.
