Viewing PDFs in Windchill

This issue happens in Windchill and Windchill WGM. When I select the PDF in the Content Tab of a CAD Drawing item, the only option is to download the PDF. This started a couple days ago. Previously, If I click on the PDF, it would open in a Windchill window to view. Alternatively, if I shift-click the PDF, it would open in a separate window.  I don't want to have to download a PDF just to view it.

This kind of thing is normally a problem with the web browser you are using.

If using Chrome (PTC recommended browser, last I checked), there should be settings in your Advanced Settings>Downloads area 'Open certain file types automatically after downloading'.

If your browser settings are centrally controlled by your organization you might be out of luck and need to lobby with IT to free or change the setting on behalf of your windchill users.
