WT Part Default Associations

Hi everyone,

I am looking to see if there are ways you guys know of to make the "content" link the default association type when performing an association to a drawing.  We are currently using Windchill 10.1 M040, however we will be moving to 11 soon, so suggestions for either version would be appreciated.

I tried first setting "create content links for drawings" preference to "yes", however this just removed the ability to have users select "calculated", and it only defaulted to "Contributing content".  So, the users still have to manually toggle almost all drawings to "Content" anyway, with the added negative of being unable to select calculated.

Remove the "*" from the contributing content Attribute Preference which will do the trick. This link is often not very usefull and can be disabled. By removing the "*" you will disable the contributing content link. Together with your Preference "create Content links for drawings" you get the "CONTENT" link as Default.
