WTContaier Versionscheme

Version: Windchill 12.0

 

Use Case: to create a WTPart and WTDocument in backend, need to set a valid version (configured for the container)


Description:

i need to create new WTPart and WTDocument in backend. for that we need to set an initial version. do we have any OOTB method or any solution to get the version scheme configure for the specific container (get version scheme from WTContaier).

You should not need it. The initial version will be set of the Object Initialization Rules as defined by your Container location. I have code that creates a part and I did not have to declare the initial version.
