It seems you can add a person to an object team (see screenshot). I can't think of where it will be useful. You cannot use it in a workflow (because they use roles), you cannot assign permissions (again at least for lifecycle they are assigned to roles). What use case does this support?
Useful for locking certain items so only a few people have access by configuring ACLs.
@BenLoosli but how would one grant any permission? The only mechanisms I can think of to grant permissions to user are
a) context policy - but they are not object level so adding user to object team offers no differentiator or
b) ad hoc permissions - but you can grant them directly on the object, without the need to add users to object team
Lifecycle template only allows permission on roles, so that is out of the question.
What am I missing?
