What "other" permissions are needed to Revise

Hi All,

Does anyone know what permissions need to be in place to Revise a WTPart + Associated CAD Doc(s) + Associated WTDocs (version to version)? The policy Administrator adds in Modify and Modify Content by default but that would defeat the purpose of using a "frozen", not-editable-by-anyone State.

Revise requires:

- Revise from the current state

- Create for the target state (defined by the LC Revise transition checkmark)


These properties shown here are responsible for this horrible nuisance behavior. They are about the worst thing ever added to Windchill (my humble opinion). Recommendation: Set all to null values.

OTB condition (the logic is just plain WRONG as you state below and other ways, but is also confusing because permissions are automatically selected that are off-screen):
