Hi Amal,
The BOM (Bill of Materials) parent-child relationship is defined from the Child Master to the Parent Version (Revision.Iteration). This means that if you have 10 different versions of a parent where a child is used, there is a possibility of having 10 different quantities for the same child across these 10 versions of the parent.
The purpose of the existing OOTB (Out-Of-The-Box) "Where Used" table is to show in which parent assembly part a child is used, and it can display this information up to the nth level.
Technically, there is a possibility of having two usage links of the same part in the BOM. However, it is not convenient to modify or display quantity and unit of measure in the "Where Used" table.
It would be easier to create a QML report that lists all "Where Used" single-level parents along with their respective quantity and unit of measure. For more information, see the article here: PTC Support Article CS210416.
Alternatively, you can write a custom table to display this information and link it to the part info page.
Hope this helps
Thanks
