Any ideas as to what exactly this error is? (I included a screen shot of the error as well)

Malformed URL: "(EpmMaster)" Format must be: "classname:idValue"
Nested exception is: java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -1
- Had a user get this today on a check in and I've never seen this one before. I was able to remove the part from his workspace after I backed it up but I could not get it to check in.
