Windchill 11.1 and NTFS Compression vs Deduplication

Hi

We migrate currently our old Windchill 10 to 11.1 on a new Windows 2016 Server. Since years I would like to activate the Windows Deduplication on the Vault Volume but I never had the courage to because of the restrictive PTC Knowledge-base article that they not support it.

So first of all, has anyone already any expirience with the Windows Deduplication on the Vault of Windchill? As an alternative option if Dedup is having any negative effect, I would like to enable just the NTFS compression on this Volume. But of course we would prefer Dedup because it would estimated saves us more than 300GB.

I use NTFS deduplication & compression in a production environment for vault, and have 97% space savings (200GB of data takes up only 5GB of physical space). A work with it during > 2 years. It works well.
