Windchill Parameter Synchronization

Does anyone know of a way, other than with ModelCHECK, to keep designated drawing parameters (that map to Windchill parameters) synchronized with their parent model's parameters?

For example, if "Description" is a designated parameter, then both a drawing and its related model with have a description field that can be edited/searched in Windchill. The problem is, on a drawing you normally only display the value from the model. When the value on the model is changed, the information displayed on the drawing is correct, but the unrelated "Description" parameter associated with the drawing itself is not. If a designer doesn't remember to go and manually change the value of the "Description" parameter in both the drawing and the model, then when viewing in Windchill they will disagree with each other. I would like to find a lightweight, automated, robust method of keeping multiple drawing parameters synchronized with the parent model. (If only drawings had relations...) Any ideas? Thanks.

You have to use a drawing program. The drawing program makes the drawing parameters equal to the model parameters.

You should look at my PTCUser talk from 2010
