Windchill Performance Monitoring

We are on Windchill 12.0.2.18 on AWS with Oracle RDS . We are using Performance Advisor. However, it is not providing all the parameters  and required Dashboards. 

We are exploring Zabbix and Grafana . However, these tools are best suited for System, Network and Infrastructure Monitoring . Any recomendadtions for tools that can monitor windchill Application and java Processes , like  -

1. Check-in , Check-out ( Action Performance) ,
2. API Health ,
3. CAD related actions (Search, Add to workspace, Check ou, Open in Creo, Save And Check , Check in New Part)
4. DB Query 
5. Active Users 
6. Server status (Windchill + Worker) up or down, JMX monitoring for jvm heapsize  etc .

JMX Monitoring is one of the option , but has its own limitations. I am looking for more Versatile and Configurable tools like Zabbix& Grafana. 

Any recommendations .

Thank you so much . I have done thorough the article . It doesn’t mention any thing about server activity. Or application monitoring except few cases like application up or down . You can say Network latency and system monitoring .

Can any of these tool monitor -  while retrieving a large assembly - what is the server response time for  processing the query, retrieving the data , dependency collection and checkout data ?

We use Site24x7 for basic server monitoring and for process monitoring. With process pointed at Java, we get alarms any time there is an issue with the method server or index server.

i am not sure about that. i do not have an author license for this tool, so i am not sure what customization features it offers. the monitoring dashboard is very detailed and covers a lot of information about the server and the monitored processes.

PTC used to provide the 'PTC System Monitor (PSM)'.  It was a pre-configured version of the Dynatrace AppMon product.  It would trace each call from the client through the application stack to the database and then back again.  It could identify how long each step in the process took and identify where bottlenecks were occurring.  PTC stopped bundling in in 2021, but still highly recommends customers consider going directly to Dynatrace and using the replacement product..
