We purchased WPAC last year - finally just getting going to implement and begin use. First phase will be very simple - replacing our current standalone InSight 4.0 system. Project phase 1 is mostly driven by the need to generate roll-up compliance reporting for just RoHS.
We're currently just getting to details related to (among others):
- Server hardware and resources
- Procedures for Disaster Recovery and Rehosting to dev / test systems
- User Roles to use in WPA (there are many OTB Roles)
- Custom Windchill views, saved searches, etc. that use WPA attributes
- others
The team here would very much like to talk w/anyone who has WPAC in production use, as well as others who are in our situation of getting close to starting use.
