What do you all use for backing up the "System State" of the server Windchill resides on?
I know what folders and everything to get for recovering Windchill documents and everything, but what are you using to get the system state?
We use Symantec Backup Exec for a backup utility and it will capture System State but it just a lot of space needed. Do I need to backup the actual install of Windchill or are the settings saved elsewhere? I'm pretty much looking for the lowest cost way to get a backup of the install. Its on an actual server and not Virtual.
Probably overthinking this but just looking for any insight or real-world uses.
