Windchill browser UP/Creo DOWN

Hello,

Has anyone experienced a situation where they can access the Windchill environment from a browser but not Creo?

Our users are down and we cannot figure out what is holding up Creo. Any enlightenment would be awesome.

Yes, sometimes the Windchill Login pane comes up BEHIND the ProE window. Look on the task bar to see if it's there or not. Otherwise try deleting your server registry and re-creating it.

One of the other things to keep in mind if this is a Windows 7
installation. The login window , in many cases, cannot be brought to the
foreground, making it impossible to login. There have been other posts
on possibly repairing this issue but they have not resolved it
completely for me. The easiest thing to do is to grab the Pro/E window
when it first comes up and move it. This will force the login to the
foreground, then you can proceed.

Is it a bunch of different users suddenly stopped working? If it is many users you may just need to cycle Windchill DS. We had a couple times in test environments just DS broke causing this symptom. If it is just one user then it could be many different things.

We do have an issue with the log-in window behind the main Pro Window.

Restarting the survey did the trick this time!
