My users are seeing an issue in Windchill that is causing a lot of problems with our family table parts. We are using execute statements in proe to change the length of parts based on the assembly they are used it. When we do this we do not check out the parts, because we are not making a change to the part that needs to be saved. When the conflict manager comes up and we select “continue” if we forget to select “verify now” for the instances of family tables we are getting new items in our workspace that it’s trying to add to the existing family tables. Its seems like its removing and instance and recreating it in the table. This new instance then creates a conflict in the workspace, as it already exist. Its only happening for 3 family tables, so some of tables are working just fine. When this happens it requires us to clear our workspace and start over with our changes. Has anyone experienced this before and does anyone have any suggestions to stop this from happening. I included a screen shot of the workspace so you can see the new items and the errors.
We are using Creo 2.0 M040 and Windchill 10.1 M040.
