Windchill publication of drawings and &PTC_WM_REVISION parameter

We're using Windchill 10.0 M030 with Wildfire 4 M220 (moving to Creo 2 this fall). Currently I have the publisher in Windchill set to publish drawings as pdf files. Works great, with one exception. The title block cells of the drawing where I have &PTC_WM_REVISION are blank. When the user has the drawing open in Pro/E it displays properly with the revision letter and when we "print" or save-as a pdf of the drawing from the Pro/E session it's fine. For some reason the Windchill publication process drops it / doesn't recognize it. Ideas? Is it something in the recipe settings or a config setting for the session of Pro/E that actually does the publication?

Thanks

Erik

Figured out the issue:

  • It's the drawings that had been created using the pre-windchill drawing format that used &proi_revision to call in the PDM revision.
  • Other part was on the computer doing the Windchill publishing, the line "dm_emulate_ilink_sys_parameters yes" was missng from the config.pro. This is in the master config.pro copied to the client installs at startups, so it works fine on the CAD operator PCs. Once this option was added to the config.pro in the PC doing the publishing everything is fine.
