Looks like your webserver is running and authenticating but Windchill is not. Can you verify that the Methodservers are up and it reported "ready" in the logs? That is the message you get when its not running. Note that if you did not provide a license file, system will auto-shutdown after 6 hours after start.

Hello and thank you for the reply, I am new to this and I can send you some log files but I don't know which ones would be helpful in troubleshooting this. if I only enter http://windchillsvr.com:8001 in the browser it says "It works" not sure if that means the http server is up or just apache

No need for duplicate message. We seem them all online.  Yes, you are seeing just Apache page when you hit that URL. If you append "/Windchill" to your URL, that should be the starting point for Windchill. On that host, you should see a number of Java processes running and logs in the logs folder under the installation location. Help us understand something. Did you just install this? Are you the administrator? do you have access to the server where its running? There should be a folder parallel to where the Apache webserver is that says Windchill. The logs folder is there. Look at the latest ServerManager and MethodServer log files for information. If it failed to startup, it might show a reason why it shut down.

You were right with checking the method servers, apologies for the late replies. Windchill is working now. Thank you so much!
