Worker Agent doesn't start - process has exited unexpectedly.

Hi,

I have some problems with PROE worker. In helper file I've got this:

Spoiler
Logging level set to 0x001 from command argument.
[2019-12-19 15:00:03] timestamps added to logging from command argument.
[2019-12-19 15:00:03] workerhelper - Version : Creo 4.0 - F000 (14.0.0.25) i486_nt
[2019-12-19 15:00:03] Increasing initial timeout to 180 seconds from command line to accomodate helper startup sleep time.
[2019-12-19 15:00:03] Connecting to server "XYZ.com" on port 5600
[2019-12-19 15:00:03] Connection established
[2019-12-19 15:00:04] Worker Cache Cleared
[2019-12-19 15:00:04] Started worker
[2019-12-19 15:00:12] Worker process 7824 has exited unexpectedly. Shutting down helper.
[2019-12-19 15:00:12] Worker helper shutting down.
[2019-12-19 15:00:12] WorkerHelper completed, exiting.

I have define correct host name in agent file and set whitelist prefix in site.xconf and wvs.properties. When I click the green flag status is still OFF and helper shows always "Worker process 7824 has exited unexpectedly. Shutting down helper.".

Thanks for help

Is your proeworker running on the publishing machine?

I have to manually start proeworker every day.

Once it is started, I can use Worker Agent to start Creo on the publishing machine.

Proeworker used to start automatically but ever since I went to CreoView Adapters 4.0 (now on 4.1) it has not and no one knows why.

I have created it on the same server as windchill and creo. It doesn't start at all.

Hi, how did you resolve this if you don't mind me asking? I seem to have the same problem.

Article - "Windchill PDMLink: Worker Status is shown as "Fails to Start" in Worker Agent Administration, Worker Agent log contains the error "java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect"": https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS116543
