cannot delete checked out item

I have a part in a workspace that cannot be deleted. This is PDMlink 8
M030. If I search, I find two items. One looks like it is not checked
out. The other has the yellow checked out symbol. Normally I would
expect two items, one red and another yellow. Has anyone seen this
before? How can I delete it?

The error for Un do check out is "The object was already unlocked."

I also try to remove the part, check it in etc. I get another error on
check-in "java lang null point"

From the windchill shell, run the following command

wt.vc.wip.ObjectAlreadyUnlockedCleanUp –relock

and then do a undo checkout. I have used this option in 8.0 M050, I am not
sure if it will work for M030. You can give it a try.

We had this exact situation several months ago - the database has some
corrupt data and you will need a SQL script to clean it up. You will need
to place a support call with PTC and they will write a script for you.
