Want to see if anyone here is experiencing a similar issue, or can maybe tell me something I am not doing right, or have forgotten
Rename pro/e files in a Workspace (new files): I know that in WS this can only be done on new files. So, after selecting a file and using rename (from the RMB), my part is renamed, and I can see it also updated in upper assemblies (this is normal and I expect this). I even call up the assemblies and force a regeneration with know problems.
But, when I attempt to check in a drawing that at one time had the old named file, but now has the new named file, I get a check in conflict that the folder for the old name file needs to be set. Now maybe I am rusty on ILINK, but I do not recall this being an issue before, or having to do anything special with renaming.
Along with this, I have been seeing situations that are similar in some ways, to where ILINK think there is a dependency issue, but really there is not. At one point I had a sub-asm that ILINK thought there were dependencies so bad, that I deleted all features and components from EVERY model, and still could not break a dependency to get my prt to check in properly.
