not able to create a Deliverable

Hello all,

here is my use case:

I create a configurable product with options and variants.

I am able to define a specification of the product.

then, I have an issue when I try to create a variant part. (Action / Request Deliverables). Here is the requested deliverables message:

18 Jan 19 17:24* Deliverable "Bill of Materials (BOM)" failed; com.ptc.windchill.option.model.Choice cannot be cast to wt.part.WTPart Nested exception is: com.ptc.wpcfg.pdmabstr.CommunicationException: com.ptc.windchill.option.model.Choice cannot be cast to wt.part.WTPart

does someone already had this issue?

could you help me to understand what this message means?

well, I answer myself if someone have the same issue:

it was due to a windchill preference:

Variant Subtype --> set it to --> com.ptc.windchill.option.model.Choice
