PTC Doc CS74622 explains how to configure SOLR index search for a variety of situations and overall is very helpful
...but...
it repeatedly refers to a setting as "wt.solr.hostname" and so I configured it ,but then WC wouldn't propagate the changes.
...got a msg that the map path wasn't set.
there IS a settting already existing in site.xconf "wt.solr.host" - I set the value for this and deleted the original wt.solr.hostname key value pair in site.xconf and then everything propagated fine...
...before I open a ticket and tell PTC that their doc is wrong could someone support or refute this?
