We currently have a manual process for the creation of a BOM for oracle. We also have PDMLink and are generating geometry from Pro/E. We are not driving our oracle from a parametric BOM. The concerns here are over bulk items, raw material, color variations, part numbers, enterprize numbers and how to manage them all to get the desired end result of a parametric BOM that can be dumped directly into Oracle. Another thought is if any of you have a method for dealing with changes initiated from oracle to backfeed PDMLink.
If you have time, is there a chance you could relay to me how you deal with these issues and perhaps provide me with you procedureand or process for yourmethods?
