the handle is invalid Windchill

 

I have a problem with a shortcut on the server machine that should execute the following command

C:\ptc\Windchill_13.0\Windchill\bin\windchill.exe -w “C:\ptc\Windchill_13.0\Windchill” --java=“C:\Program Files\Amazon Corretto\jdk17.0.12_7\bin\java.exe” shell and it shows

 

the handle is invalid

Hello @MS_Santos 

I would recommend to use different place for java JDK. 

The C:\Program Files\ is very strict area, and I have experience similar issues if the JDK is placed there 

Does not matter that you run it as an Administrator.

So install/move the JDK to different place then C:\Program Files\...

When you say this location, is it the Windchill server? If so, yes

Just verifying that the file path to java is the same as what you have in your command

It's strange that after trying several times, it connects fine.

It may be a conflict on java itself, if you have multiple versions installed, try uninstalling all java, restarting the computer and then installing only one java.
