I'm not sure if these two issue are related,

Can you please get the admin privilege back to wcadmin account and take a look at the check-in issue

Are you using WindchillDS or another LDAP for your user authentication?

Do you have a backup of your authorization files that could be restored to recover the settings?

Do you have a DB administrator who can look in the DB and see what the permissions are for the wcadmin user and possibly reset them that way?

Not sure why there is a connection between the wcadmin account and your user's ability to check-in work to Windchill.

Hi,

I just accidently added wcadmin into View and print only group.

Try this.

https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS20793

Temporarily disable permissions

xconfmanager -s wt.access.enforce=false -t codebase/wt.properties -p

Restart Windchill

Login as wcadmin and remove wcadmin from ALL license groups.

Reset the property

xconfmanager --reset wt.access.enforce -p

Restart Windchill

Hello,

The article is no longer available

Yes it is.  Refresh the page when an article throws that error.

Note: It may not resolve your issue since you assigned a license group.  The fallback option in 11.x is to hack the LDAP (WindchillDS) and remove wcadmin from any license groups.  I would restart Windchill after making this change to force the LDAP sync.

In 12.x and later, we decouple inside the database.
