what are Worker Agent Administration,Queue Management and WVS Job Monitor

what are Worker Agent Administration, Queue Management and WVS Job Monitor . Is there any correlation between these utilities? can you please explain each in one liner.

also, when user tries to upload any CAD file into Windchill, are these participate in that publishing process? if yes, how is the sequence between these 3.?

Worker Agent Administration is where you setup the publishing and start it, if needed. If set up correctly, the piblisher will start automatically when a job is submitted to the queue.

Queue Management is the process for defining your publishing queues, setting priority and other background type of setup operations.

The Creo session doing the publishing can only process 1 file at a time so they get placed in the queue until Creo is ready for them. The queue also holds a record of published jobs.

WVS Job Monitor allows you to see the queue, show job status and restart any failed publishing jobs.

You can define when a job is published by Windchill at various stages. I have Windchill set to publish on Check-In. You can also set it for change state and some other criteria. Check the documentation.

There really is no sequence as they all relate to the publishing process. I guess you could say the QM is the first step, as it does the setup, then the WAA to start the queue, if required, and then the WVS JM to monitor the publishing progress.

So in order to check-in a document, that has to go through all these 3 stages, correct? it does not work even if miss to set up any one of these 3?

Is there any utility needed to do the publishing process other than these 3?
