I am curious, is the Sensor Hat supposed to be taking the real temperature of the surroundings? Mine consistently reads about 35C, and I'm pretty sure its not actually that hot inside my house.

 

The other thought is that since it is close to the CPU, it is reading the temperature, but the CPU is creating heat which is raising the temperature.
