Report showing date of last promotion

Good Afternoon,

While it is easy to create a report that returns all parts in a particular state, I've been asked to enhance this by including the date the parts entered this state.   Since we use primarily promotions, I think the date of the last promotion that affects the part would provide the answer.     Does anyone have some ideas about where this information is stored and how to string it together?

You could go from the

From:

     Promotion Request

     Part / or EPMDocument depending on which  you are looking for

Join

     Promotion Request     (Promotion Target)          Part/EPMDocument...

The Promotion Request has a field Promotion Date for all successful promotions.
