adding rows to a table... and other annoyances / enigmas

Hi all,

In a drawing, when one adds rows (or columns, I presume) the "tool" to add a
row is turned on and one's cursor changes to a black arrow. How does one
turn off that "add row" tool? I regularly find myself clicking around
aimlessly trying to stop adding rows.

Also,

Is there any way to shut off the measurement tool other than click the "X"
on the top right of the measure dialog? Wouldn't a middle click, or an ESC
press or maybe a large "done" button make sense? Is the little X the only
way?

Oh, also, I am not complaining. I am forcing myself to NOT complain. I
really want to, but I am NOT. OK?

.patiently waiting for Creo3 when they fix all these things. Dreading Creo4
when they decide to improve the UI again.

Thanks,

-Nate

Nathan,

I can tell you that when adding rows or columns to a table you have to hit the middle mouse button to exit the command

I agree with you about the Measure command - something more obvious than a teeny, weeny little X would be greatly appreciated

Well, I'll be jigger'd.

A middle click does work. I am amazed that I didn't try that before whining
about it.

Thanks Mike - for slapping me awake!

Nathan,

I won't tell you how long it took until I "stumbled" across that

Glad I was able to help

Mike

FYI - the same "trick" applies to other things as well - e.g. modify
attachment of a note.
