I getting funny cautions on my model and it'll crash after this, causing a reboot. my models are 1-2 GB in IDR file after STEP import.
Hello It would be good to start a new question instead of replying to this one. Chances are you will have more visibility that way.
Are you using the latest version of Isodraw? I personally have not seen that message. We use JT models as our file type. Does it happen with smaller models or only large ones?
Does it happen if you import and work on an idr or does it only happen when opening the idr that the file was already placed on?

hello, yes latest version.
1. small files, when importing in some small parts and not assy, the part will have lost it's file name and show up as a 3d shape ##### with many extrusions, or in a GROUP of one part, none of the files have the original step file name.
with that said, the part imported in with x, y, z, in the same location as the NHA, so it fits like the original part.
2. large files, the error occurs and because the files are over 1GB, we are mating 2 large files, the program crashes and won't tell you it crashed, and still uses the mem and cpu computing, We're also using virtual mem to help the lack of RAM, even though it's an eng laptop.
