3. Describe the problem you are trying to solve. Please include detailed documentation such as screenshots, images or video.
We want to export cabling assemblies to Blender for training purposes. Therefore, we use FBX  and .obj. 

Our harnesses are not converted. Is this possible at all? I am not an expert in this field.

4. What is the use case for your organization?
Benchmarking between Blender and Creo Illustrate

5. What business value would your suggestion represent for your organization?

Hi,

 

Yes, I'm interested to know also whether it is possible to export routed components to .obj directly from creo?

 

Currently we can generate an .obj only by

1.  Use "save as step" in Creo with the "cable surfaces" export setting

2. Read the step with freecad.

3. Export obj from freecad

4. Read to Blender
