Webcast Q&A

Question from Craig:  Looking for content like this for an update from Creo 6.0 to Creo 8.0:  https://precisionlms.ptc.com/viewer/course/en/36998598/page/36998599

Answer:  This is our legacy content, and we don't create content like this any longer.  However, you can access virtually the same content (and I would argue better) using Learning Connector via the filters.  Here is an equivalent for enhancements for Creo 6, 7 & 8:

Webcast Q&A

Question from Mark:  In the middle of the night, if I'm trying to figure out how to use a command in Creo, can you have a "24-hour Chat Window" to ask a question to live tech support somewhere in the world?

Answer:  In this situation, you would want to log a call with PTC Technical Support, which is indeed available 24 hours a day.

Webcast Q&A

Question from Michael:  Do you need a subscription for certifications?

Answer:  No, a certification can be purchased separately if desired.  That being said, a subscription purchase is a better value prop for the user.

Webcast Q&A

Question from Peter:  Are the virtual classes recorded and available for future consumption?

Answer:  No, because the course is then no longer live.  All virtual classes are live, and as a subscriber you can retake the course as many times as you wish.  You do have access to the student guide for one year afterwards.

Question from Peter:  Thanks, Matt, Understood but would be great to be able to reference the training video later and fast-forward to the part I need a refresher on, view that, and continue with my work.

Answer:  After the fact, it you're looking for a video then I'd suggest checking out the tutorial in Learning Connector to see if there is a video that fulfills your needs.

Webcast Q&A

Question from Steven:  Are there language options or are all classes in English?

Answer:  It depends on the course, frankly.  Some courses' student guides are localized in up to 6 different languages.  From a delivery standpoint courses are delivered in German and Chinese.
