newline in textbox

I want to show text such as
fist line
second line
third line
in the mathcad control->textbox.

I used
TextBox.Text = "fist line" & chr(13) & "second line " & chr(13) & "third line"
in the script, but the newline showed as a squre symbol in the text box.

what would you suggest?
