Student Version installation problems

I've extracted all the files and started the installation. It goes through the installation including the second set of files then it shows it is complete but the only choices I have is next and exit. If I hit next then it re-installs the software and if I hit exit it exits without completing. When I try to open Pro it crashes because it cannot find a license.
