Hi.
I am new using Windchill (11) and am currently cleaning upp our roles/teams/groups. For some reason when I chose a user in a group that is added to Promotion Approver role the user does not get the Approve Promotion Request. As I understand it we can manipulate this behavior following the link below:
How to configure the Promotion Request
I did try according to link but with no results.
Summary is:
If the user is directly under role Promotion Approvers the user will get the approve promotion task.
If i remove the user from Promotion Approvers and instead add him/her to a group the user does not get the approve promotion task.
Question is: How do I configure it so I can use groups in roles instead of using users?
