Enabling OSLC for Windchill

I have a user who is using Cameo and wants to link to Windchill. I came across this page in the help guide.

It seems like you need to enable something to get this to work. Has anyone done this? Also there was another article that talked about integrating Cameo to Windchill:

That was a no but I think it was answering the management of the Cameo file. That might be simple enough to do with a WTDoc soft type but what have you done?

Magicdraw or Teamwork Cloud? Our Systems Engineering folks have done some direct integrations with Magicdraw, however I think for OSLC to Windchill you would need a tool like Syndeia or OpenPDM to handle the OSLC integration.

Perhaps I am wrong on thinking in need OSLC. In any case, its already configured since help documentation refers to upgrades. I believe its Magicdraw. How did they get the direct Integration working?

Great question - CAMEO does not yet have full updated OSLC support.  Dassault has indicated that they plan to have an updated OSLC solution in the future.

OSLC is built around providing process traceability - building a digital thread so that cans can collaborate, engage in development and change management across the development cycle.  OSLC does not preclude the ability to also replicate data, but its not part of the core definition.
