How to use projectlink with Inventor content center?

In PDMLink we have set a library is set for the Inventor Content Center as specified in https://support.ptc.com/help/windchill/r12.1.2.0/en/index.html#page/Windchill_Help_Center/WWGMforAutodeskInventor/WWGMInvAdvTechInventoriPartFactContentCenter.html

However at the bottom it says:

Do not set the Define Library Used by Application preference when working with Project context. If this preference is set, the Content Center part gets silently checked in to the library location, but the workspace displays its general status as Another iteration is checked out by you.....

But it does not explain how to work with content center files and ProjectLink projects otherwise.

Does anybody here use Inventor in combination with Projectlink and how do you manage your content center?

Would it be an idea to share the complete library to a Project's context as default setting?
