Color Coded Searches: Anyone Can Use and Everyone Can Benefit

Color coded searches are used to visually recognize parts in an assembly that meet certain search criteria. They are easy to set-up in PTC Creo View and can benefit the whole Enterprise. Configuration Management can see what parts are still at the Lifecycle state of "In Work". The presenters will discuss how to use the color coded search to recognize which parts and assemblies have been released before sending them off to get manufactured. Manufacturing will then be able to recognize parts that contain hazardous material and require special handling. This allows the model to show the critical information instead of a text file.
