Recognizing the need to address organizational Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and maintain its market leadership and reputation for quality, Hewlett Packard’s Enterprise Group did a corporate level assessment of its internal quality strategy and tactics, then engaged PTC to assess the state of the reliability engineering processes and tools. The PTC assessment uncovered opportunities to apply a best-practice approach by creating more integrated reliability analysis processes across the product lifecycle. The presenter will provide background on the motivation for the organizational assessment of quality strategies, current state of the Quality Lifecycle in EG, the findings from the PTC reliability assessment, the past and current solution initiatives, and the expected value to be realized.
