Another DXF problem

I am having a problem when I am exporting to a dxf. If the flat sheet metal part has a feature on it that is arc of any type when I first bring it into autocad the arc comes in a series of straight lines. In autocad I can clean up the line by using the Regen all command. The problem is that our sub contractor is burning the part with this jagged line.

Is there any kind of dxf_config setting that will increase the resolution of this part to clean this up or do I have to rely on my vendor to make sure his resolution on the part is set right?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Stephen

I did a quick search on this and talked to technical support

Stephen,

I might be wrong, but isn't there a setting in the DXF output dialog box that askes wether you want Splines to be Poly-lines or Splines? You might try both and see what you get.
