Layers (drawings)

ProE users,

How do you create a layer to hide a curve in one view but not the other?

You don't need a special layer (per se), but you have to set the layer
visibility for the view you want to be different that the 'norm'.

You can highlight to drawing view, and then set the hide/show layers
attributes there.

Brad,

It's not a matter of the "creation" of the layer. The issue is in what level
you are collecting your entities for that layer.

You have selection options in your layering process that will allow you to
place specific entities on SPECIFIC VIEWS. If you know the name of your view
you can select that from your layer options. Then you either add or remove
layer entities according to your preference in that view.
