UDF

Hi all,
I have a need in UDF where in i would like to input one positional
dimension value , when i create a group feature through UDF library.
ie when i place the UDF feature the propmt should ask me the value for
position in addtion to the reference planes for position.(like we do using
pro-program)
Is this possible..... in UDF?.!!!!!

Thanks.

When you define the UDF, look at the dialog box and one of the items is VAR
DIMS.

Select that and you can choose the dimensions to prompt for.

I have never used UDF's .
I now have a use, I think, and don't know how to set one up.
First I would like to know if a punch cutout for a connector can be made into a UDF.
Next where can I go to find out how to make a UDF.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanx
Paul
