divorce instances from family table???

hey gang

in family tables how do you divorce instances to be stand alone parts???

Hello,

Open an instance and then save it with new name.

1. Open your generic model.
2. Open the particular instance model from the family table that you want to divorce. (You may want to make sure that if you need a drawing, it is created before you delete the instance out of the family table)
3. Go back to the generic model and open the family table
4. Delete the row of the instance. (The status area will say that the instance is now a stand-alone)
5. Go to the divorced instance and hit the save button.
