how to set up an analysis feature

Hello Pro E pros...

I have a question for you...

I need to determine the height of the points that make up a (sketched or projected) curve over a datum plane.

How can I set up an analysis such that I will be able to locate the highest point of the curve over the datum plane??

I have a slightly cumbersome method to get this maximum distance. Create a second datum plane above the curve parallel to the first, then create an analysis to measure the minimum distance from the curve to that plane. You can then create a relation to subtract that distance from the planes' offset, giving you the maximum distance from the top of the curve to the original datum plane.
