CreoIllustrate Version: Creo Illustrate 10.0.20.17 M020

Hello - does anyone know, if there is a special trick to import *.jt files and unigrafics files (*.prt)?

Although the product information sheet "6714–Creo Illustrate–DS–0611-de.pdf" states supporting both file types in CreoIllustrate I cannot open neither *.jt nor *.prt.

For *.prt files CreoIllustrate even shows the extension in the import dialog.

From Unigraphics you can transfer files to Creo Illustarte only in "JT" format, in this case, you must separately purchase an additional option "JT Import Filter". "PRT" file format designed to open models (parts) created by Creo / Elements Pro (Pro/ENGINEER) and it's not a UG NX file format.

Some examples of JT 3D models can be found at Siemens website, here: "JT2Go - Download Examples".
