We have started seeing an issue when we open a CreoView file from Windchill and then go to print it to Adobe PDF. In some cases, we do not get the full drawing into the PDF file. Views are missing or the format is missing, in one case, sheet 1 only showed the 2 shaded views but sheet 2 was fine. When we do a print from within Creo, these same drawings when printed to Adobe PDF on the same computer come through fine.
Not sure where to start searching for the answers. Is it a CreoView issue or Adobe PDF? PDF prints from Creo being fine would lead me to thing CreoView.
Creo 4 M080
CreoView 4.1 F000
Windchill 11.0 Mo30 CPS08
You can use "Case Logger" tool on PTC's eSupport portal: https://support.ptc.com/apps/case_logger_viewer/auth/ssl/log
Hi Ben,
I believe that since your not seeing any issues with Adobe printing them directly, it's a good place to start as considering this a problem with Creo View and as Vladimir suggested you can open a case so we can take a look at what's going on.
There is an additional layer of preparation that Creo View has to perform in order to prepare the content for printing so it's possible something needs to be looked into there.
Hope that helps,
Robbie
